Two German tourists got a nasty shock while travelling in New Zealand when a tree fell on their car crushing it beyond repair. Unfortunately their third party insurance didn’t cover the 1994 Toyota for the damage.
Although the local authority didn’t assume responsibility for the accident caused by the tree growing in a state owned park they did offer the pair £35, a free towing and a free bunjee jump pass as compensation. Although the tourists were far from happy with the situation they said they would be taking advantage of their bunjee passes before they left the country.
In keeping with this odd event we are dropping 5% on our IKEA size mattresses for the next 7 days so you don’t hae to leave home to experience a sinking feeling. Offer is valid until the 5th of February.
