Just as a beautiful painting isn't complete until it is framed, a beautiful bed isn't complete without a headboard! As well as adding the finishing touch to a bed, a quality headboard also offers a host of practical benefits. Here at Odd Size Beds, we have a wonderful selection of wooden and upholstered headboards for you to choose from and this edition of our blog showcases some of our favourites.
A good headboard helps to protect the wall behind and is also ideal for those people who like to sit up in bed, whether you're watching TV, reading or using a computer. They also help you to sleep better, keeping your pillow firmly in place no matter how much you may move about during the night. From an aesthetic point of view, a carefully-chosen headboard gives a bed a beautiful visual appearance.
Upholstered Headboards
All of our upholstered headboards can be supplied in a wide range of fabric and colour options that can be exactly coordinated with our divan bed sets.
- Impression Winged Headboard. Make a real statement with this stunning headboard, which has a gorgeous winged shape and diamond panels. The headboard is embellished with glittering crystals that produce a truly glamorous effect.
- Impact Curved Headboard. With its beautifully-curved shape, the Impact headboard is at once subtle and striking. The headboard boasts timeless styling which will work well with any interior design scheme, adding instant elegance and class.
- Grace Cubed Headboard. The name says it all! Sublimely graceful, this headboard is emblazoned with small squares, creating clean geometric lines that are absolutely hypnotic. Crystal embellishment brings a touch of extra pizzazz.
Wooden Headboards
Our wooden headboards are crafted using Scandinavian pine of superlative quality and are available with either an Antique or Natural Lacquer finish. They can also be supplied unfinished if required.
- Vegas Wooden Headboard. With a thoroughly contemporary style, the Vegas wooden headboard will give a delightful aesthetic to a bed frame. The headboard features a design comprising two elegantly-interlocked rectangle shapes.
- Motif Headboards. Designed for children's beds, these headboards feature either a teddy bear or football motif placed prominently in the centre. There's also the option to personalise the headboard with your child's name or any other text. If you need to use the headboard for another child in the future, it is plain on the other side and can be quickly reversed.
